Randy L. Morris

Randy Leigh Morris 54 A resident of Dongola, IL formerly of Vienna, IL. Passed away Monday morning, November 22, 2010, at 6:38 AM at the Harrisburg Medical Center. Randy was born September 7, 1956 in Hinsdale, Illinois. He was the son of Bob and Nancy (Bryant) Morris. Survivors include: His Father & Stepmother - Bob and Ellen Morris of Vienna His Daughter & Son-in-Law - Autumn Leigh and William "Billy" Lewis of Vienna Grandsons - Logan & Ethan a Sister - Karol Ann Stahl of Simpsonville, SC a Half Brother - Mike Morris of Oregon a Half Sister - Alisa Morris of Carbondale, IL a Nephew - Brian Jakubco a Niece - Allison Stahl Special Friends - Hope Sauerbrunn and Cheston Cook Aunts, Uncles, many Cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Randy was preceded in death by: His Mother - Nancy A. (Bryant) Morris Schaumleffel a Sister - Kimberly Jakubco Randy was a 1974 graduate of Vienna High School. From the late 1970's thru the late 1980's, Randy served in the Illinois National Guard. He was an auxiliary member of the Beggs-Gurley VFW Post 5222 in Vienna. Randy had volunteered his time organizing annual Christmas toy drives and used his artistic talents to free-hand paint murals at the VFW Post. Randy began his work career as a meat cutter for the Vienna Locker. He was also a skilled carpenter and enjoyed woodworking, clock making and etching. He had worked in the construction field, as well as working for a citrus processing plant in Dade City, Florida. Randy also had received his C.N.A. training. Randy was very creative both artistically and musically. He enjoyed playing the guitar. Randy also enjoyed fishing and had worked as a shrimper during the time he lived in Florida. Randy was a Mason and Shriner and had been a member of New Columbia Masonic Lodge # 336 AF&AM. Randy loved the time he spent living in Florida and had hoped that he would one day be able to return there to live. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday evening, November 27, 2010, at 6 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Visitation will be from 5 PM - 6 PM Saturday.
