Randall W. Haden

Randall W. Haden, son of Lloyd Haden & Mattie (Taylor) Haden, was born February 1, 1920 in the Bloomfield Township of Johnson County Illinois. He departed this life Monday evening, July 16, 2007, at 5:16 PM at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY. At the time of his passing, Randall had attained the age of 87 years 5 months & 15 days. Randall was united in marriage to Bessie M. (Farden) on July 4, 1949 at the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church near Tunnel Hill, IL. She survives. Other survivors include: 2 Sons ƒ?" Tom W. & Judy Haden of McEwen, TN and William R. ƒ?oBillƒ?? Haden of Simpson, IL; a Daughter ƒ?" Alice & Buster Clover of Anna, IL; 8 Grandchildren ƒ?" Tom & Char Haden of Goreville, IL, Cathy & Ronnie Rougemont of Tennessee, Windi & Chuck Summers of Tennessee, Brian & Jennifer Knaak of Salem, IL, Joanne & Bill Eubanks of Anna, IL, Harold & Elizabeth Knaak III of Buncombe, IL, David & Sue Knaak of California & Randall Robinson of California; 14 Great Grandchildren; 3 Sisters ƒ?" Inez Ross of the Bloomfield community, Betty Willyard of Tunnel Hill, IL, and Clara Drews of Ozark, IL; a Brother ƒ?" Marvin Haden of Tunnel Hill, IL; Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, & many dear friends. In addition to his Parents, Randall was preceded in death by 3 Brothers. Randall was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He served from 1941-1946 in the Pacific theater of operation. Randall was employed as a plater in the shake-proof department of the Illinois Tool Company in Elgin, IL with 29 years service, prior to his retirement in 1984. Randall attended the Simpson Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying gardening & hunting. Randallƒ?Ts hobbies included bowling, dancing, playing bingo, & pitching horseshoes. Randall never met a stranger, and once you met him he was always your ƒ?ofriend.ƒ?? Randall was a wonderful husband, father & grandfather. He was a wonderful provider & dearly loved his family. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2007, at 11 AM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Richard Martin will officiate. Interment will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded. Friends may call after 5 PM Thursday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
