Joann Cluster

Joann Cluster, age 82 years, a resident of Energy and a former resident of Ozark, passed away Monday afternoon, January 21, 2019, at 1:02 PM at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Joann was born April 10, 1936 in Johnson County Illinois. She was the seventh of ten children born to Clarence and Blanche (Breeden) Treat. On June 23, 1955, Joann was united in marriage to George Cluster, Jr. in Peoria, Illinois. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1996. Joann is survived by: her children – Vicky (Keith) Younkin of Carterville, Mick (Debbie) Cluster of Julian, Pennsylvania, and Patti Killman of Energy; 10 grandchildren – Becky Qualls, Jarrid Younkin, Chrystal Killman-Johnson, Rachael Prather, Tabitha DeTemple, Mandy Woodard, Talina Lutz, Michael Cluster, Jeffrey Killman, and Jeremy Cluster; 14 great grandchildren; 3 brothers – Ed Treat of Marion, Harry Treat of New Burnside, and Donald Treat of Ozark; nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Joann was preceded in death by a son-in-law – Kelly Killman; an infant grandson – Josiah Cluster; 3 sisters – Judy Treat, Mary Williams, and Kathern Douglas; and 3 brothers – Bill Treat, Jim Treat, and Ken Treat. Joann attended Vienna High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Joann was a faithful member of the Ozark United Pentecostal Church. She was also a faithful Bible student and read her Bible through annually for over 20 years. A service honoring the life of Joann Cluster will be conducted Saturday morning, January 26, 2019, at 11 AM at the Ozark United Pentecostal Church, 90 Locust Street, Ozark, Illinois. Jeff Treat, Greg Douglas, Mick Cluster and Michael Cluster will officiate. Burial will be in the Rushing Cemetery, east of Ozark. Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2019, from 5 PM – 8 PM at the Ozark United Pentecostal Church. Additionally, there will be visitation Saturday morning, January 26, 2019, from 10 AM until the funeral hour at the church.
