James Ray ƒ?oJimƒ?? Annable Age: 72 years A resident of rural Cypress, IL. Passed away Wednesday evening, February 28, 2007, at 9:40 PM at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY. Ray was born December 22, 1934 in Cypress, IL. He was the son of Alvin Lindsay Annable & Lillie E. (Steele) Annable. Ray was united in marriage to Beverly J. (Holloway) on July 8, 1954 in Corinth, Mississippi. She survives. Other survivors include: 3 Daughters: Carol & Don Stockdale of Ozark, IL Rose & Wayne Cornman of Cypress, IL Virginia & Mike Chamness of Cypress, IL 2 Sons: David Annable of Goreville, IL Richard & Kathryn Annable of Goreville, IL 10 Grandchildren: Cynthia Tremblay, Chris Stockdale, Alvin Stockdale, Destenie Annable, Joshua Cornman, Jennifer Cornman, Alisha Ridley, Aaron Chamness, Benjamin Chamness, Miranda Annable 4 Great Grandchildren: Taysean, Sean, Colton, & Martin a Step Granddaughter: Samantha Reynolds 2 Step Great Grandsons: Cameron & Caleb 4 Sisters: Ruth Brown of Belleville, Michigan Etta Mae & James Martin of Walkerton, IN Thelma & George Penrod of Cypress, IL Kathryn & Donald Riley of Karnak, IL Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives & many dear friends. Ray was anticipating the birth of a 5th Great Grandchild in April 2007 In addition to his Parents, Ray was preceded in death by: a Sister ƒ?" Edith Lewis a Brother ƒ?" Doyle Annable Ray was a 1952 graduate of the Vienna High School. Ray was employed for over 33 years as an Appliance Service Technician by Sears, Inc. in Paducah, KY. Ray was a devoted member of Lutherƒ?Ts Chapel United Methodist Church near Cypress, IL. He had served as a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, and song leader. Ray was a board member and former treasurer of the Lutherƒ?Ts Chapel Cemetery Assoc. Ray enjoyed gardening and raising Limousin cattle. He was a dedicated & loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and dear friend to many. Ray always believed in extending a helping hand to his neighbors and was ƒ?oselfless to the very end.ƒ?? Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, March 3, 2007, at 1 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Kenny Baker & Rev. Jesse McPherson will officiate. Interment will be in the Cypress Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 PM Friday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
