Halloween Vinson Age: 92 years A resident of Vienna, IL Passed away Wednesday morning, March 28, 2007, at 6:25 AM at the Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna. Born: August 17, 1914 in New Concord, Kentucky. She was the daughter of William Roy Marr & Cecille (Cooper) Marr. Halloween was united in marriage to Walter Eugene Stewart in 1938 and moved to Johnson County Illinois, where she continued to live for the rest of her life. Halloween and Eugene were divorced in 1945. Halloween was united in marriage to James Everett Vinson on July 19, 1945. Together, Halloween and Everett were united in marriage over 49 years prior to his passing on August 16, 1994. Survivors include: a Daughter ƒ?" Marjorie & Richard Cullen of Murray, KY 4 Sons ƒ?" Phil Stewart of Vienna, IL Pete & Donna Stewart of Brownsburg, IN Gary & Suzanne Vinson of Vienna, IL Steve Vinson of Vienna, IL a Sister - Hynda Osborn of Stuart, FL a Step Daughter-in-Law: Joyce Vinson of Vienna 11 Grandchildren 2 Step Grandchildren 18 Great Grandchildren 2 Step Great Grandchildren Nieces & Nephews In addition to her Parents, Halloween was preceded in death by: Her Husband, Everett Vinson a Sister ƒ?" Auburna Perkins a Brother ƒ?" Aubrey Marr a Stepson ƒ?" Bobby Vinson Halloween was a 1932 graduate of the New Harmony (KY) High School. She was a member of the New Mount Carmel Baptist Church in New Concord, KY. Locally, she attended the Pleasant Ridge Church near Bloomfield until she broke her hip and entered the nursing home in Vienna. Halloween & Everett owned and operated a small general store in Bloomfield and Halloween worked there for many years. She had previously worked at the Vienna hatchery, as well as the Blue Lite CafÇ¸ and Little White House CafÇ¸ in Vienna. She was a member of the Whistlers & Whittlers Senior Citizens Center and an associate member of the A.B.A.T.E. Motorcycle Club. Halloween enjoyed gardening and canning the vegetables which she grew. From the age of 10 years until after she entered the nursing home in 2003, Halloween kept daily journals of her life experiences. Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, March 30, 2007, at 11 AM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Jeff VanCleve will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, north of Vienna. Friends may call after 5 PM Thursday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
