Emma was born November 26, 2020, in Carbondale, Illinois. She is survived by: her loving mother – Amy Parenti Ballard of Cypress; grandparents – Tim (Laura Kilgore) Oliver of Vienna; an uncle – Joey (Jennifer) Parenti of Marion; an aunt – Melanie (Dillon) Peebles of Marion; cousins – Owen and Jackson Peebles; a step-sister – Arris McGill of Vienna; a great-aunt – Jennifer Sepulveda-Delgado of Melrose Park; a great uncle – David (Beverly) Oliver of Vienna; an honorary aunt and cousins – Krystal Terry, Liam Terry and Isabelle Terry all of Cypress; adopted grandparents – Loveta Mullins and Tommy Mullins, honorary aunt & uncle Shonna and Dustin King of Vienna and a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Emma was preceded in death by her great grandparents and a maternal great aunt – Shari Orange Stepter. Emma was a true “Mommy’s Girl.” She loved to be held, carried, and cuddled. She also enjoyed being outdoors, and especially enjoyed going for wagon rides. Emma enjoyed playing with her toys, particularly her “See and Say” and she absolutely loved Elmo and YouTube baby songs. Emma is fondly remembered for “food being her thing” and that meals were her favorite time of the day. Her favorite food was McDonald’s french fries. A service honoring the life of Emma Loren Ballard will be conducted Wednesday evening, November 16, 2022, at 7 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Pastor Tommy Gray will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 5 PM – 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63110.
