Annie Lucille Scott Age: 85 A resident of Vienna, IL and a former resident of Trezevant, Tennessee. Passed away Friday morning, November 6, 2009, at 7:20 AM at her home in Vienna, IL. Annie was born August 15, 1924 in Atwood, Tennessee. She was the daughter of George Mitchell & Beatrice (Dunovan) Mitchell. Annie was united in marriage to Edward Jesse Scott on July 12, 1944 in Corinth, Mississippi. He survives. Other survivors include: Her Children: James "Scotty" Scott, and his wife Shirley, Las Vegas, NV Robert Scott, and the late Debby, of Ecorse, Michigan Sandra Hollis, and her husband Ed, of Vienna, IL Kathy Wingle of Monroe, Michigan 19 Grandchildren, 54 Great Grandchildren, & 6 Great-Great Grandchildren a Sister-in-Law - Nell Mitchell of Trezevant, TN Many relatives, friends, and acquaintances she has left behind from her long life journey. In addition to her Parents, Annie was preceded in death by: 2 Sons - Donald Scott and Joe David Scott 2 Brothers - Ralph Mitchell and Joe Mitchell a Sister - Marie McNeely Annie was of the Southern Baptist faith. She was a member of the Vienna First Baptist Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Trezevant, TN. Annie enjoyed quilting and creating handcrafts. She made and gave away many tissue box covers and bookmarks to friends and family. Services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 5 PM at the First Baptist Church, 7th & Washington St., Vienna, IL. Friends may call from 4 PM - 5 PM Saturday at the church. Services will also be held Monday, November 9, 2009, at 11 AM at Williams Funeral Home, 2209 Meridian St., Greenfield, TN. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. Annie's son-in-law, Dr. Ed Hollis will officiate at both services. Visitation will also be held from 5 PM - 8 PM Sunday, November 8, 2009, at Williams Funeral Home. The preferred form of remembrance is memorials to the Vienna First Baptist Church, PO Box 727, Vienna, IL 62995 or to the Trezevant First Baptist Church, 60 Church Street, Trezevant, TN 38258. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna, IL and Williams Funeral Home, Greenfield, TN.
