Alice Jo (Trover) Jackson Age: 57 years a resident of rural Vienna, IL Passed away Saturday evening, May 26, 2007, at 7:45 PM at St. Maryƒ?Ts Medical Center in Evansville, IN. Alice Jo was born June 12, 1949 in Carbondale, IL. She was the daughter of Melburn R. ƒ?oBuddyƒ?? Trover & Garnelle Y. (Bethel) Trover. Alice Jo is survived by: Her Parents ƒ?" Melburn ƒ?oBuddyƒ?? & Garnelle Trover of Ozark, IL a Daughter ƒ?" Leslie Speir, and her husband Mike, of Albion, IL a Son ƒ?" Chad Vaughn, and his wife Deborah, of Vienna, IL 3 Grandsons ƒ?" Bryce Vaughn, Quentin Speir, & Brendan Vaughn 3 Brothers ƒ?" Jerry Trover, and his wife Cena, of Ozark, IL Larry Trover, and his wife Pat, of Vienna, IL Bobby Trover, and his wife Marleis, of Vienna, IL Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives & many dear friends Alice Jo was a 1968 graduate of Vienna High School. She earned a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate from Southeastern Illinois College at Harrisburg, IL. Alice Jo assisted in the operation of her familyƒ?Ts business, Trover Produce. She also had been employed by TIP of Illinois Hospice service, and more recently was employed for over 5 years as a Patient Care Technician by Rural Health, Inc. in Vienna. Alice Jo loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a unique ability of being able to make everyone around her feel special and was a friend to everyone she came into contact with. At family gatherings, Alice Jo always had her camera and loved to take pictures. She was a faithful & dedicated member of the Pleasant Ridge Church. Alice Jo had a special place in her heart for children. She had served as the church Youth Leader and as a Sunday School teacher. Alice Jo was a devoted Bible student and spent many hours reading her Bible. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday evening, May 30, 2007, at 6 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
