T.A. Noble Age: 83 years A resident of Vienna, IL. Passed away Friday afternoon, September 29, 2006, at 4:45 PM at the Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis, IL. Born: March 14, 1923 in Metropolis, IL. He was the son of Albert Pleasant ƒ?oA.P.ƒ?? Noble & Allie L. (Shelton) Noble. T.A. was united in marriage to Betty L. (Cox) on January 28, 1943 in Jackson, MO. She survives. Other survivors include: 2 Sons - Ron & Vicki Noble of Vienna, IL Terry Noble of Vienna, IL 7 Grandchildren - Ron Noble, James Noble, Yvonne Noble, Laura Hassan, LaDonna Gleason, Sabrina King, and Anthony Noble. 5 Great Grandchildren - Steven Noble, Ryan Noble, Tyler Gleason, Andrew Gleason & Kaitlyn King 5 Step Grandchildren - Denise Ynostrosa, Jennifer Ynostrosa, Mindy Rios, Patrick Wiseman, & Tammy Inzunza 2 Step Great Grandchildren - Cara Inzunza & Destiny Inzunza A Sister-in-Law: Ruby Noble of Metamora, IL Several Nieces & Nephews, including Charlotte White of Jonesboro,IL In addition to his Parents, T.A. was preceded in death by: 4 Sisters ƒ?" Marie May, Mildred Houseman, Helen Mathis, & Odelia Clay Anderson 3 Brothers ƒ?" Nelson Noble, Charles Noble, & Leo Noble T.A. was a U.S. Army veteran. He served during World War II in the South Pacific. He was stationed on New Caledonia Island and later in Luzon. T.A. was a former member of the Beggs-Gurley VFW Post in Vienna, IL. T.A. was the former owner/operator of the DX Service Station in Vienna. He had also worked in the construction trades. For 26 years, T.A. was employed at the Anna State Hospital, retiring as an engineer in 1985. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local # 399 in Chicago, IL. T.A. was a member of the Vienna First Baptist Church. He was a tireless worker and also enjoyed deer hunting & fishing. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, October 3, 2006, at 1 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Bill Gholson will officiate. Interment will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
