Ruth Ann Clutts, daughter of Wilburn E. Dixon & Louise L. (Livers) Dixon, was born January 3, 1945 in Morton, IL. She departed this life Sunday afternoon, March 25, 2007 at 4:05 PM at her home in Eddyville, IL. At the time of her passing, Ruth Ann had attained the age of 62 years 2 months & 22 days. Ruth Ann was united in marriage to Clarence L. Clutts, Sr. on July 1, 1964 in Bartonville, IL. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2004. Survivors include: Her Father ƒ?" Wilburn E. Dixon of Golconda, IL. 3 Sons ƒ?" Randy Dixon and his wife Lisa of the Renshaw Community, William E. Clutts, Sr. and his wife Susie of Eddyville, IL and Clarence L. Clutts, Jr. and his wife Rita of Eddyville, IL. 7 Grandchildren ƒ?" Dakota Dixon, Samantha N. (Nicki) Clutts, Clarence L. Clutts III, April Jones-Clutts, Pvt. William E. Clutts, Jr., Tim Jones, Crystal Twitchell. 3 Great Grandchildren ƒ?" Steven, Tyler & Dylon Twitchell. 7 Sisters ƒ?" Nancy Mechling of Vienna, IL, Kay & Mark Kielhofner of Oran, MO, Terri & Randy Northern of Witter, AR, Debbie & Johnny Jones of Campbell Hill, IL, Rebecca & Bobby Sisco of Golconda, IL, Cindy & Randy Belford of Golconda, IL and Rose & Curtis ƒ?oBullƒ?? McIntyre of Jackson, MO. 1 Brother ƒ?" Steven Dixon of Golconda, IL. Several Nieces & Nephews. In addition to her Mother, Ruth Ann was preceded in death by: 1 Brother ƒ?" Wilburn Earl Dixon, Jr. Ruth Ann had been employed as a Secretary in the Literacy Department at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, IL. She had an A.A.S. in Computer Science from Southeastern Illinois College. Ruth Ann was a member of the Shawnee Belle Chapter of the Red Hat Society. She was very talented; she enjoyed making crafts, making jewelry and floral arrangements. Ruth Ann also enjoyed collecting angels. Ruth Ann was a member of the New Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church and former member of the Womenƒ?Ts Bible Study. Ruth Ann leaves her family & many dear friends to cherish her memory. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, March 29, 2007 at 11 AM at the Waltersburg Church in Pope County, IL. The body will lie-in-state at the church from 10 AM ƒ?" 11 AM. Rev. Clyde Mott, Jr., Rev. Virgil Cox & Pastor Tera Sisco will officiate. Burial will be in the Waltersburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 PM ƒ?" 9 PM Wednesday at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
