June Cogdill Trover Age: 80 years A resident of Vienna, IL. Went home to meet her Lord on Tuesday afternoon, April 7, 2009, at 3:47 PM at the Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna, IL. June was born June 18, 1928 in Vienna, IL. She was the daughter of Lawrence Mott and Annie (Alsip) Mott. June was united in marriage to Paul Cogdill on December 22, 1945 in Vienna, IL. To this union two children were born, Linda (Cogdill) Flick and Dr. James Paul "Jim" Cogdill, Jr. Paul preceded June in death on December 22, 1989. She was later united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Trover of Tunnel Hill, IL. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2003. Survivors include: Her Son - Jim Cogdill, and his wife Debbie, of Cape Girardeau, MO a Granddaughter - Regina (Flick) Nix, and her husband Tony, of Lake Zurich, IL 2 Great Grandchildren - Travis Nix and Ryan Nix a Sister - Ruth Ann Jackson, and her husband Stanley, of Vienna, IL a Brother-in-Law - Ralph Burgess of Metropolis, IL Nieces - Nancy Erickson, Jennifer Holloman, Marianne Hyde, & Cheryl Jackson Nephews - Alan Burgess, Gary Burgess, Danny Kerley, Michael Hyde, & Chris Jackson Several Great Nieces & Great Nephews June was a special "MaMa" to Great Nephews Jordan & Trenton Hyde In addition to her Parents and Husbands, June was preceded in death by: a Daughter - Linda (Cogdill) Flick in 1997 2 Sisters - Jenny Hyde & Dorothy Burgess a Son-in-Law - Kenny Flick a Nephew - Karl Schnaare a Niece - Sheila Jackson Ramage June was employed for several years as a retail clerk. She later worked as a cook at the Vienna High School. June was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Vienna. June was an avid reader. She loved spending time with her family and friends. June always had a deep love for children and provided babysitting service in her home for many years. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, 2009, at 11 AM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Scott Harner will officiate. Interment will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 PM Thursday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
