Howard Wayne Breeden Age: 72 years A resident of rural Vienna, IL. Passed away Sunday morning, February 28, 2010, at 2:25 AM at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Wayne was born July 9, 1937 in Simpson, IL. He was the son of Howard Glenn Breeden and Myrtle Irene (Gurley) Breeden Mizell. Wayne was united in marriage to Letha A. (Kerley) on November 19, 1955 in Ozark, Illinois. She survives. Other survivors include: 2 Daughters: Karen Faulkner, and her husband David, of Vienna, IL Donna Jo Jeffords, and her husband Ned, of Golconda, IL 4 Grandchildren: Scott & Michelle Faulkner of Orion, IL Jeremy & Tiffney Faulkner of Vienna, IL Lisa & Andrew McRoy of Marion, IL Ashley Seets of Stonefort, IL 7 Great Grandchildren: Kaleb, Zacharie, Preston, Ashton, Ericka, Joseph, and Savannah Wayne was also anticipating the birth of a great granddaughter in July 2010. He is also survived by: 2 Sisters: Doris Lingle of Goreville, IL Judy Pierson of Las Vegas, NV 2 Brothers: Ray Breeden, and his wife Nancy, of Buncombe, IL Gene Breeden of Boulder City, NV Several Nieces & Nephews In addition to his Parents, Wayne was preceded in death by: 2 Brothers: Forrest Breeden and Glenn Breeden During his teenage years, Wayne was employed at Throgmorton Drug Store in Vienna, IL. He then worked as a delivery man for approximately 9 years at Century Hardware in Goreville, Illinois; for 7 years at Olen Matheson; and for 36 years by Veach Oil Company. Wayne also loved farming and enjoyed raising cattle. He was a horse enthusiast and loved to participate in trail rides. He also enjoyed showing horses and attending horse shows. Wayne was a member of the Pope County Saddle Club, where he had served on the board of directors, as well as having served as president of the original Johnson County Saddle Club. Wayne was also a member of the Johnson County Farm Bureau. He was of the Baptist faith. Wayne loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at 11 AM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. David Faulkner will officiate. Burial will be in the Rock Springs Cemetery, near Simpson, IL. Friends may call after 5 PM Monday, March 1, 2010, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
