Magee Llewellyn, age 76 years, a resident of Anna, Illinois, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 3, 2023, at 3:21 PM at her home. Geraldine was born April 10, 1946 in Sikeston, Missouri. She was the daughter of Elisha Alexander Magee and Bunav (Williams) Magee. Geraldine is survived by: her daughters – Kimberly (Jeff) Hickam of Jonesboro, Michelle (Glenn) Cook of Goreville, and Sonia Rhymer of Anna; 8 grandchildren – Robert (Aimee) Gooden, Cheyenne (Ethan) Burlison, Matthew (Taylor Adkins) Gooden, William (Kara) Cook, Brandon Rhymer, Jared (Melissa Anne) Bowling, Ashley Bowling, and Desiree (Chris) Covey; a sister – Barbara (Jimmy) Duckworth of Anna; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by: a daughter – Lisa Cheryl Lynn Kerley; and 13 siblings. Geraldine had been employed at Trojan Powder Company in Wolf Lake, Illinois. Later, she worked as a home health care provider. Geraldine was a member of the Anna VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. Geraldine was a member of the Alto Pass Full Gospel Pentecostal Church. Geraldine fought a valiant four year battle against cancer A service honoring the life of Geraldine D. Magee Llewellyn will be conducted Friday afternoon, January 13, 2023, at 1 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Pastor Billy Carter will officiate. Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, from 11 AM – 1 PM at the funeral home.
