She was the daughter of Richard Pierce and Frances (Johnson) Pierce. Doris was united in marriage to Everett ƒ?oMickeyƒ?? Herring on September 30, 1963 in Mound City, IL. He preceded her in death on November 16, 1997. Doris enjoyed attending yard sales; collecting angels & jewelry; and making crafts. Doris was devoted to her family.
