Deiedre Michele "Dee" Miles Age: 40 A resident of rural Vienna, IL. Passed away Sunday afternoon, August 16, 2009, at 12:35 PM at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Dee was born March 10, 1969 in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of Hilbert Huston and Sheron C. (Smith) Huston. Dee was united in marriage to Curtis L. Miles on October 29, 1988 at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church near Grantsburg, IL. He survives. Miles - all at home 4 Brothers - Bill Huston of Wisconsin Eugene C. Huston of Metropolis, IL Harry H. Huston of Wisconsin Mike Evans of Vienna, IL a Sister - Tara Hobbs of Mt. Vernon, IL a Brother-in-Law - Gary Miles of Roseburg, Oregon Sisters-in-Law - Charlie Fargo of Metropolis, IL Debi Miles of Dallas, TX Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives & many dear friends. Dee was preceded in death by: Her Father - Hilbert Huston a Brother - William R. Haynes Dee was a 1987 graduate of the Vienna High School. She had worked for approx. 12 years as an associate at the Wal Mart Store in Anna, IL. Dee was a devoted homemaker and "soccer mom." She was a very active volunteer and supporter of scouting and had served as a troop leader for the Girl Scout Cadet Troop # 662 and Daisy Troop # 971. She also served as the Girl Scout Service Unit Director for Johnson and Pope Counties. Dee was a den mother and troop leader for approx. 3 years for her son Wyatt's Boy Scout Troop, as well as serving as the treasurer for the Johnson County Boy Scouts. Dee was a faithful member of the Reevesville Community Church, where she formerly taught a Sunday School class. Dee enjoyed reading, crafting and making handcrafts. She especially enjoyed cross stitch. Dee had provided babysitting in her home for many years and loved those children as her own. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, August 21, 2009, at 2 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Brother Billy Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 PM Thursday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4503 W.
