Mrs. Deborah J. White

Deborah J. White Age: 61 years A resident of Vienna, Illinois and a former resident of Kevil, Kentucky. Passed away Saturday morning, October 20, 2012, at 6:51 AM at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Deborah was born December 24, 1950 in Evansville, Indiana. She was the daughter of James E. Franklin, Sr. and Dorothy Mae (Hobgood) Franklin. Deborah was united in marriage to Dale White on July 19, 1968 at the Simpson Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2007. Survivors include: 2 Sons & Daughters-in-Law - Sean & Amy White of Paducah, Kentucky Scott & Cindy White of Kevil, KY 4 Granddaughters - Hannah, Lauren, Annie, and Maggie 3 Sisters - Sharon Diane Poshard of Vienna, IL Cathy Funk of Riverton, IL Pam Franklin of Vienna, IL 2 Brothers - Jay Franklin of Goreville, IL Eddie Franklin of Paducah, KY Nieces and Nephews In addition to her parents and husband, Deborah was preceded in death by: A Sister – Carrietta O’Conner A Brother – James E. Franklin, Jr. Deborah had worked as a house painter. She also served as a monitor technician at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church near Cypress, Illinois. She was an avid reader. Deborah spent many hours studying the Bible by reading and listening to audio recorded scripture. She also enjoyed nature and being outside watching the birds and squirrels. She especially enjoyed watching hummingbirds. Deborah was a movie fan and especially enjoyed watching Science Fiction movies with her sister Pam. Deborah will be remembered for her love of life and her fun and outgoing spirit. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Following her stroke, Deborah continued to inspire those around her by her upbeat and positive outlook and the faithful manner that she lived her life from day-to-day. Visitation will be held Monday, October 22, 2012, from 11 AM – 1 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 22, 2012, at 1 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Deborah’s brother, Pastor Jay Franklin will officiate. A private interment service will be conducted in the Newton Creek Church Cemetery near Kevil, Kentucky.
