Mr. Clarence R. Stinocher

Clarence R. Stinocher Age: 80 years A resident of Vienna, Illinois. Passed away Tuesday morning, November 20, 2012, at 10:15 AM at the home of his daughter in Marion, Illinois. Clarence was born January 13, 1932 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of Raymond and Florence (Adams) Stinocher. Clarence was united in marriage to Donna Joanne (Barnett) on January 20, 1956 in Rock Island, Illinois. She preceded him in death on October 10 1997. Survivors include: His Children - Bryan & Miwako Stinocher of Murfreesboro, TN Bradley & Jennifer Stinocher of Mesa, AZ Stacy & Steven Albright of Marion, IL 11 Grandchildren - Alison & Jeremy Anderson Rebecca Stinocher Ashley Stinocher Scott & Samantha Stinocher Samuel Stinocher Amanda & Zach Hughes Laura Stinocher Sarah Stinocher Samuel Albright Sierra Albright Emma Stinocher 2 Great Grandchildren - Parker Anderson & Jonas Anderson 5 Brothers - Jerry Stinocher of East Moline, IL Mike, Dick, Kenny, & Dennis Stinocher all of Davenport, IA A Sister- Karen Walters of Port Angeles, WA A Half Sister- Judy Shull of North Liberty, IA Nieces & Nephews In addition to his parents and wife, Clarence was preceded in death by a Brother, William Stinocher. Clarence was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He was employed as a machinist by Kartridge Pak in Davenport, Iowa and later by Car Graph in Tempe, Arizona. Clarence was a faithful and devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Foxcroft Ward in Johnston City, Illinois. He had served as Bishop, Stake Presidency Counselor, High Counselor, & Stake Clerk. Clarence enjoyed baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was also a remote-controlled model airplane enthusiast and member of the “Flying Squires” Model Aircraft Club. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Bishop Scott Joyner & President Masaru Okuda will officiate. Interment will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Military flag presentation will be accorded by the Illinois National Guard Burial Honors Detail. Visitation will be from 10 AM – 12 Noon Saturday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. The preferred form of remembrance is donations to TIP/VNA Hospice, 8341 Express Drive, Marion, IL 62959.
