Audrey ƒ?oKayƒ?? Woodworth Kahoun-Lara, age 64 years, a resident of rural Stonefort, Illinois & formerly of Aurora, IL, Passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 9:09 PM at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL. She was born April 8, 1941 in Tunnel Hill, IL. She was the daughter of Lee Woodworth and Ruby C. (Richardson) Woodworth-Oliver. Kay was united in marriage to Theodore Kahoun on April 19, 1958 in Mississippi. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was later united in marriage to Raymond L. Lara on July 13, 1991 in Aurora, IL. He preceded her in death on December 13, 1999. Survivors include: 3 Daughters - Cynthia Kahoun of Vienna, IL, Deanna Messenger & her husband Ted of Tiline, KY, Amanda Rodriguez & her husband Ricky of Stonefort, IL; 13 Grandchildren ƒ?" Joshua & Ashley Kahoun, Clarissa & Jacob Yeary, David Kahoun and Heather Bruckman, Denise Ford, Daniel Kahoun, Ivy Hurst (with whom Kay made her home), Destiny Hurst, Suise Messenger, Sammy Messenger, Sarah Messenger, Tosha Laudando, Tesha Laudando and Keith Bevely, & Bobby Laudando.; 3 Great Grandchildren ƒ?" Juliana Kahoun, Gabriel Kahoun & Ian Kahoun. Kay was anticipating the birth of a Great Grandchild in June 2006; 2 Sisters ƒ?" Donna & Donald Oƒ?TNeal of Ozark, IL and Rose & Harold Kennedy of Ozark, IL; a Sister-in-Law ƒ?" Judy Woodworth of Grandy, MO In addition to her Parents & Husbands, Kay was preceded in death by: a Daughter ƒ?" Rebecca Hurst; a Sister ƒ?" Joyce Woodworth; a Brother ƒ?" Royce ƒ?oSonnyƒ?? Woodworth Kay was employed as an Assembler and in the Quality Control Dept. of Standard Grigsby in Aurora, IL. from 1980 ƒ?" 1989. She had also been employed as a cafeteria worker in the Aurora Junior High School. Kay was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Aurora, IL. She was a member of the Ozark Baptist Church and was a dedicated Bible student. Kay enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and flower gardening. She enjoyed watching ƒ?oDays of Our Livesƒ?? and ƒ?oPassions.ƒ?? Kay was devoted to her grandchildren. She enjoyed helping them with their homework, especially History & Social Studies. Kay taught her granddaughters, Tesha & Tosha, to drive. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 1 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Gilead Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 17, 2005, from 12 Noon ƒ?" 1 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home. Contributions in memory of Kay are suggested to the Bailey Funeral Home, P.O.
