A resident of rural Tunnel Hill, Illinois and a former resident of Mattoon and Strasburg, Illinois.

Passed away Tuesday March 9, 2010 at 5:30 AM at her home near Tunnel Hill, Illinois.

Dolores was born May 9, 1915 in Strasburg, Illinois. She was the daughter of Martin Buesking and Bessie (Spannagel) Buesking.

Dolores was united in marriage to Albert Joseph VanScyoc. He preceded her in death. Dolores was later united in marriage to Harry Jackson. He survives.

In addition to her Parents and first Husband, Dolores was preceded in death by:

a Daughter – Marjorie Sue Wandrey
a Granddaughter – Stacey VanScyoc
2 Sisters – Lorene Mayhew and Vera Dohring
2 Brothers – Harold Buesking and Merle Buesking

Dolores was a homemaker. She had also worked in the food service department of General Electric in Mattoon, Illinois.

Dolores was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Strasburg, IL. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, quilting, and crochet.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 12, 2010, at 7 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.

Friends may call from 5 PM – 7 PM Friday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 11 AM at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Strasburg, Illinois. Those attending the graveside service are asked to gather at the cemetery at 10:45 AM Saturday.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois, 204 Halfway Road, Marion, IL 62959 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
